Alung House is a residential project located in the Citra 6 residential area. Modest in overall size, the house presented a unique design challenge due to its narrow 7-meter frontage. This constraint required a clever architectural approach to bring in ample natural light despite the limited width.

The distinctive “Jengki”-inspired roof became a key feature in solving this issue, allowing the introduction of a strategically placed window on one side of the roof wall. This opening serves as a crucial source of natural light, enhancing the interior atmosphere throughout the day. Glamour and elegance were never the goals for this house. Instead, simplicity and humbleness define its character, making it quietly stand out among the neighboring homes through restraint and clarity in design.
